ABOUT HOMETRUTH

Why HomeTruth Exists

Buying a home is one of the largest financial and personal decisions most people make.

Yet the information behind that decision is often scattered across regulatory records, developer disclosures, public documents, market data and multiple other sources.

HomeTruth was created to help buyers see the decision more clearly before they commit.

We bring together relevant information from various sources, examine it systematically and explain what appears clear, what deserves attention and what remains uncertain. Our purpose is not to create fear or urgency, but to bring clarity, context and independent perspective to the buying decision.

On the Buyer’s Side

HomeTruth begins with a simple principle:

The buyer deserves to understand what they are committing to.

We do not sell property or receive developer sales commissions. Our work is designed around the buyer, not around making a transaction happen.

Where the information is clear, we say so.

Where something deserves attention, we highlight it.

Where information is incomplete, conflicting or unavailable, we make that uncertainty visible rather than filling the gap with assumptions.

The Founder

HomeTruth was founded by Robin Marwaha, whose experience spans operations, commercial credit, real-estate finance, risk, customer operations and complex decision processes.

That experience led to one recurring observation:

Important decisions are often difficult not because information is absent, but because the information that matters is fragmented, difficult to interpret or buried among information that does not.

HomeTruth grew from the belief that property buyers deserve a more structured and independent way to understand that information before making a major financial commitment.

How We Think

Our work is guided by five principles:

Independent — We approach the information without a predetermined outcome.

Evidence-led — Important observations should have an identifiable basis.

Rigorous — We look at the relevant pieces together rather than relying on a headline number, reputation or sales claim.

Balanced — Not every unusual finding is a problem, and not every positive claim is necessarily important.

Clear — Research is valuable only when the buyer can understand what it means.

Beyond the Surface

A brochure can tell you what a project offers.

A sales conversation can tell you why you should consider it.

A bank can tell you whether it is prepared to lend.

HomeTruth asks what comes next:

What does the available information show? What has changed? What deserves closer examination? What remains unclear?

We do not treat popularity, reputation or sales momentum as substitutes for evidence.

A project can be selling strongly and still contain an issue that becomes expensive or difficult later.

Our Method

Depending on the project, our research may examine areas such as:

  • RERA and regulatory information

  • developer track record

  • construction and delivery history

  • litigation and dispute information

  • financial indicators

  • pricing and market context

  • project specifications

  • infrastructure and location

  • information gaps or inconsistencies

The purpose is not to produce the longest report.

It is to identify what is relevant to the decision.

Signal Over Noise

A HomeTruth assessment helps distinguish between:

What is known

Information with an identifiable source or basis.

What the numbers indicate

Calculated or comparative observations.

What deserves attention

A fact, pattern or inconsistency relevant to the buyer.

What remains unclear

Information that could not be sufficiently established.

What you may want to ask next

Questions that can help you obtain greater clarity before committing.

Our Standards

HomeTruth is built around a simple standard:

Research deeply. Think independently. Explain clearly.

We aim for structured research, source traceability, careful separation of source information from interpretation, balanced treatment of disputes and explicit acknowledgement of uncertainty.

The final decision always belongs to the buyer. Our role is to help make that decision more informed.

HOMETRUTH
